Texans of Czech Ancestry (TOCA) Award


On March 24th, T.J. and Myrna Slansky, members of several Czech organizations throughout the state, were given an award from the Texans of Czech Ancestry (TOCA) for their work and all the meetings they have attended thoughout the state, for many years. They recently attended the State Queen Contest in Lamar, Texas, and they have attended this contest for 18 years. Our Texas Queen is Danielle Blattman of China Springs, Texas. Her little Czech Sister os Emma Elkins. Later, they will attned the National Contest, in addition to traveling around the state of Texas to visit Czech organizations.
